Dr. Marc Becker is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in treating individuals and couples. His office is located in Anaheim Hills where he has been in private practice for the last 22 years. Dr. Becker is joined there by his wife Sheryl Becker, MFT, who specializes in counseling children and adolescents.
Dr. Becker’s clinical specialties include the substance abuse, anger management, anxiety and depressive disorders, stress management, and marriage counseling. Additionally, Dr. Becker has a strong interest in the psychology of sport behavior and works with elite athletes to enhance their athletic performance in a variety of competitive environments.

About Sheryl Becker MFT
Sheryl Becker is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) practicing psychotherapy in Anaheim Hills, CA. Sheryl specializes in working with children and adolescents. Many young people today are faced with extreme levels of stress and can benefit from talking to a trained therapist. Sheryl has had the privilege of helping children and teens overcome adversity, reclaim happiness and live more positive, stress-free lives. She has a special interest in working with children and teens who are struggling with a family divorce, anxiety issues, feelings of sadness and depression and the general stresses of everyday life. She also enjoys working with young adults as they transition to adulthood, establish themselves in the college or working world and make decisions about relationships. With her caring approach, she utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and play therapy customizing her approach to meet each client’s individual needs. An important and crucial aspect to her work is helping parents learn and use positive parenting skills. Having a marriage of 18 years and two teenage children, she understands the challenges of raising children in today’s society. Sheryl received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley (1984) and her Master’s Degree from USC (1988) in Counseling Psychology. She has been in private practice in Anaheim Hills since 1994. Areas of particular interest include stress, OCD, depression, parent and sibling relationships, parenting, divorce, grief and loss, and self-esteem.
